Gun Violence: A Public Health Crisis is a clear, compelling course that reframes gun violence as a public health issue rather than just a political or criminal one. It effectively uses data, research, and real world case studies to explain risk factors, social determinants, and evidence based prevention strategies. The inclusion of expert insights and community perspectives adds depth and human context. Assignments are engaging and encourage students to connect theory with practical solutions. Overall, the course provides a balanced, informative foundation for understanding and addressing gun violence through a public health lens.

I found the course on Gun Violence; A Public health crisis. It opened my eyes on issues in our systems related to guns. It is an issue across the world that needs to be handled. But many
issues come back to laws and the rights of citizens. But many people don't want guns to be cracked down on because they feel it is violating their rights. If it could be addressed in a good manner or have better regulations the crisis could be cut down and possibly one day be solved. But this course showed me and gave me a better understanding of the issue.
