Gradual Typing of Ruby at Scale

This talk examines Stripe’s experience building and deploying a gradual type system and internal typechecker for a large Ruby codebase. It covers design tradeoffs involving adoption, explicit manifest types, nominal interfaces, and control-flow-dependent checking.
