Explore the latest developments in Formula One aerodynamics in this 12-minute video focusing on rear wing design. Dive into the process of redesigning a Formula One car's rear wing to comply with FIA regulations, featuring the collaborative efforts of Luca Padovani and Andro Rak. Learn about two innovative wing variations: the tandem configuration and the bi-plane setup, and discover how these designs significantly improve downforce by 10% compared to the previous model. Examine the trade-offs between increased downforce and drag penalties, and understand the implications for high downforce tracks. Gain insights into the complex aerodynamic shapes implemented in 3D software, including redesigned suspension components, swan neck, and wheel-attached wings. Compare this video with previous aerodynamics updates in the series to build a comprehensive understanding of Formula One car design. Explore fundamental concepts of aerodynamics, simulation techniques, and aerodynamic testing methods applicable to various vehicles, from race cars to drones and aircraft.

The Design made by Luca and Andrew was quite fantastic with the degree of aerodynamic flow analysis done much fascinating on Rear wings showing the load and thrust division on the wings. The surface area and the laminar flow analysis on the F1 both vertically and horizontally was astonishing. Learn a lot with the demonstrator prescription.
