This conference talk presents Cloudscape, a comprehensive dataset analyzing nearly 400 cloud architectures deployed on AWS, with a specific focus on storage service usage patterns. Explore findings that reveal S3 as the dominant storage service (68% prevalence) while file system services remain surprisingly rare (4%). Learn about the common heterogeneity in cloud storage layers and how storage services primarily interface with Lambda and EC2 while also supporting specialized ML and analytics services.
