Professor Yeo, who was appointed an MBE in 2020 for his services to research and communication, is also a fellow of Wolfson College, Honorary President of the British Dietetic Association, BBC science documentary presenter, and author of books including "Gene Eating" and "Why Calories Don't Count." He also hosts the podcast "Dr Giles Yeo Chews The Fat" and won the Society for Endocrinology Medal in 2022.
