I am very pleased to find this amazing platform that helped me to understand what we call temporomandibular joint which is the between lower jaw bone the mandible and temporal bone of the skull.
Through this course I have understood that this joint is responsible for jaw movement and it is the mostly used joint in the body.

Actually before reaching on this platform I was totally oblivious to the oral hygiene and structure but now I have acquired what we call articular disc which act as cushions in temporomandibular joint and also now I am aware of temporomandibular disorders and their treatments including therapies, medication and dental night guards.

Firstly, passing through this course have helped me to understand snoring and sleep apnea which occurs in many people and I have understood it's causes including obstruction of air way due to excess tissue of the throat caused by larger tonsils or tongue and other many factors.

Furthermore, through this course I obtained corrective jaw surgery which is group of procedures performed to correct dental facial irregularities due to misalignment of jaws and this in result causes speech problems in some people and this is overcame by surgery.

Moreover, this course also helped me to know procedures and mechanisms for swallowing and other things that intervene for this to be efficient.
Swallowing is the process by which food passes from the mouth through the pharynx and into esophagus. Swallowing also involves brain coordination through cranial nerves.

Swallowing involves oral phase, pharyngeal phase and esophageal phase.

Finally, this course is more interesting and it provides the more information for the content and I would recommend people to visit this platform and start this courses that really inspired me to learn more courses here as soon as possible.
