I have learnt that pressure ulcers are developed when a patient has been I one place for a longer period rather a patient that is confirmed to a bed and has been bedridden for a long period of time and sits or sleeps in one position and not turned hence the skin is prone to get infected and pressure soles develop which leads to distorting of the tissues in the skin
