Learn to differentiate between normal coronary arteries and severe coronary artery disease through this 10-minute medical imaging video that compares CAD-RADS 0 (normal) cases with CAD-RADS 4 (severe stenosis) cases using coronary CT angiography. Master the standardized CAD-RADS (Coronary Artery Disease – Reporting and Data System) classification system that grades coronary artery disease severity and provides management recommendations. Examine normal coronary anatomy with 0% stenosis requiring no further evaluation, then contrast this with CAD-RADS 4A cases showing ≥70-99% luminal stenosis in major coronary arteries and CAD-RADS 4B cases involving ≥50% left main stenosis or ≥70% stenosis in all three major vessels (LAD, LCx, RCA). Understand the plaque burden classification system ranging from P1 (mild, 1-2 segments) through P4 (extensive, ≥7 segments) and learn to assess atherosclerotic burden and associated cardiovascular risk. Develop skills in interpreting CCTA images to identify high-probability ischemia territories and make appropriate clinical management decisions based on standardized reporting criteria.
