After receiving the lectures on Caring for the Cancer Caregiver, I gained a lot,and understanding of how important it is to support those who dedicate their time and energy to looking after loved ones with cancer.
Cancer is not only a physical illness but also an emotional and social battle, and while treatment plans focus on the patient, the caregiver often becomes the silent backbone of recovery.
Overall, the class reinforced that caregiving is a shared journey and that caregivers has a major role in the healing process. It was an eye-opening experience that reminded me that caring for the caregiver is not a secondary task, but a vital part of holistic cancer care.

It’s definitely great. I must say I’m very much impressed with the quality of learning despite it being just a 1 hour and 40 minute long video. Learning for free is really great, and its Stanford. Crazy right? This course has taught me in ways I never thought I’d learn. It’s a great way to open young minds or even adult minds to a topic so serious yet taken not so seriously by many as it may seem too redundant or “overrated” for some.
