After receiving the lectures on Caring for the Cancer Caregiver, I gained a lot,and understanding of how important it is to support those who dedicate their time and energy to looking after loved ones with cancer.
Cancer is not only a physical illness but also an emotional and social battle, and while treatment plans focus on the patient, the caregiver often becomes the silent backbone of recovery.
Overall, the class reinforced that caregiving is a shared journey and that caregivers has a major role in the healing process. It was an eye-opening experience that reminded me that caring for the caregiver is not a secondary task, but a vital part of holistic cancer care.

I am excited to take the chance to learn this course caregiver for the cancer, I have discovered that as a caregiver you go through a lot but you must put your life as a priority you should always know that your life mattered so as you are talking care of a cancer patient you must take care of yourself as well.
The other thing is that you must understand that love is priority, should show love to the one your talking care of, let people come to your home it helps to create a good environment which helps you and the one your talking care of to have some kind of good feeling. -

To be sincere I never knew caregiver is this deep till after the lectures I received here and it makes me understand that I am matter,my life is matter and I am a human too,and I get to know that both physical, intellectual and spiritual also matter in caregiving cause it take alot to be a caregiver, you will need alot of patience and endurance most especially if the person you caring for is not appreciating your efforts but with what had learned today,it will make me a professional caregiver.
