Learn the fundamental principles and practical applications of geostatistics through this comprehensive lecture covering essential statistical concepts for spatial data analysis. Explore random variables, averages, and variation before diving into normal Gaussian distribution and normal score transformation techniques. Master the calculation of experimental variograms in both 2D and 3D contexts, and understand how to develop theoretical variogram models. Discover kriging interpolation methods and learn to identify and handle anisotropy in variogram analysis. Conclude with an introduction to stochastic modeling and Gaussian simulation techniques used in spatial prediction and uncertainty quantification.

The course is really great, that it uses not much time to cover all the essential concepts of the geostatistics. But you should add some examples to improve the understanding of the learner. and give exercises to practice what is taught.
