Knowing the resistance mechanism is key to Antiretroviral Therapy. Some may arise due to moderate treatment adherence, or by mutation during replication. E.g mutation of M184V is a signature mutation of 3TC which makes the virus to replicate slowly and it's susceptible to TDF and AZT.

Very helpful class and it's became quite easy for me to grab a lot of knowledge over the resistance created against Drugs,crucial drug levels to control and prevent the HIV and it's an overall a nice session to understand drug resistance and what to overcome them and maintain low viral loads.
