In this 1-hour 8-minute lecture from the Joint Princeton University/Institute for Advanced Study Number Theory series, explore the algebraicity of Spin L-functions for GSp_6 with Ellen Eischen from the Institute for Advanced Study. Learn about recent results concerning the algebraicity of critical values of these L-functions and ongoing work toward constructing p-adic L-functions that interpolate these values. Understand how this research connects to earlier developments in the field while addressing new technical challenges. The talk, which is based on joint work with Giovanni Rosso and Shrenik Shah, welcomes all curious attendees, even those without prior experience with Spin L-functions. The lecture takes place in Simonyi 101 with remote access also available.
