I'm currently in my final year of MBBS. AI in medicine is my field of interest. This whole lecture and discussion is an eye opener for me. I would love to learn under supervision of such person.
The idea that came to my mind after watching this video is :
Why don't we add to that trained model that finalizes the picture quality to also do a step further of identifying the type of skin (according to Fitzpatrick scale). we make 3 models that handle only class 1-2 , class 3-4, class 5-6 separately. In this way the first model after taking clear picture and identifying the class of skin tone send it to respective model and that model can be more accurate than the one that has data for all of skin types. It's just my idea, if there is something that anyone thinks is better, can give me a reply and teach me. Thanks.
