Course Background
1. Drugs are a serious public health and social issue that poses a significant threat to human health and well-being. The global drug epidemic has a major impact on China's political, economic, and social stability.
2. The variety of drugs is constantly increasing, with new forms emerging regularly. The reasons for drug use are diverse and complex, affecting not only specific groups but also spreading across various sectors of society, even reaching university students.
3. University students need to continuously improve their self-protection abilities, learn to cherish life and reject drugs, and become the main force in promoting anti-drug awareness and disseminating drug knowledge, serving society as a whole.
Course Objectives
1. Understand the current severe situation of drug control both internationally and domestically, and grasp the long-term, difficult, and complex nature of the drug problem.
2. Acquire knowledge about drugs, recognize the harms of drugs, understand anti-drug laws, and master methods and skills to refuse drugs.
3. Enhance awareness of anti-drug education and voluntary service, strengthen social responsibility, and consciously become an anti-drug volunteer to contribute to building a "Safe China, Rule of Law Society."
