The course of "Smart Home Creative Design" is a core course in the Environmental Art Design major of the School of Design. It is also an international course that integrates technology and design thinking, and is aimed at international students in design, engineering, and related majors. The course focuses on the deep integration of smart home technology and creative design thinking, with a focus on cross-cultural applications and global adaptability. Through the "theory+practice" mode, it helps students master the core components of smart homes (sensors, controllers, etc.), communication protocols (WiFi, Zigbee, etc.), and scenario based design skills. The course includes experiments, projects, and seminars, covering prototype development, privacy and security, business case analysis, and other content, cultivating students' innovation ability, user centered thinking, and sustainable design awareness, helping them create technically reliable, culturally adapted, and user-friendly smart home solutions, and delivering composite design talents to the global smart home field.
