Medical immunology is a newly and rapidly developed subject to study the body’s defense against infections at cellular and molecular levels. It forms the basis of the medicine. In this course, we mainly focus on the important two forms of adaptive immune responses, humoral and cellular immunity, to introduce how specific T cells and B cells recognize and respond to the antigens. We will provide the general understanding of immune response as an overall dynamic process. Thus students can easily master the basic theory of medical immunology which is necessary for the students to learn the clinical medicine.
