Course Objectives
This course is designed for higher vocational students majoring in Jewelry Design and Fabrication. It aims to develop students' full-pipeline competence in K-gold jewelry design — including AI-assisted creative generation, three-view drawing, and quick color rendering — while integrating fine traditional Chinese culture education to enhance students' cultural and creative design capabilities.
Course Importance
K-gold jewelry is the dominant category in today's jewelry market, with strong demand for design talent. The course is closely aligned with the industry need for "commercial customization + cultural heritage." Leveraging the Greater Bay Area Jewelry Industry-Education Integration Practice Center, it uses real enterprise commissions as teaching vehicles, achieving seamless alignment between education and industry.
Faculty Team
The course is led by Ms. Jiang Yao of the School of Jewelry. The teaching team brings rich industry practice and pedagogical experience, and has co-developed the curriculum with enterprise mentors from the jewelry sector, ensuring that course content remains closely attuned to real-world industry standards.
