Hydraulic and pneumatic transmission technology has been widely applied in various fields such as machine tools, engineering machinery, automobiles, ships, aerospace and aviation, and has become an indispensable technology in the field of automation. In particular, its applications are increasingly extensive in the high-end equipment manufacturing industry, digital and intelligent upgrading and transformation of manufacturing, and the field of industrial robots.

The course Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission is an important professional core course for mechanical majors and the foundation of mechatronics. In the process of curriculum construction, we clarify that "students are the masters of their own learning", adhere to the principle of "guidance-oriented, teaching-assisted", achieve "integrated learning and doing, learning by doing and doing while learning", and ensure "the alignment of curriculum content with vocational standards and teaching processes with production processes".

We promote the comprehensive alignment between the content of the Hydraulic and Pneumatic Transmission course and the job requirements of enterprises for hydraulic and pneumatic transmission technical personnel from three levels: vocational post competence, work tasks and teaching content, as well as curriculum standards and vocational skill standards.
