The course is divided into two sections: theory and practice. The theoretical section interprets the true essence of health Qigong from the perspective of nurturing life, clarifies its past and present, and demonstrates the mechanisms and effects of health Qigong in optimizing life. The practice section includes shortened versions of health Qigong routines, namely Yi Jin Jing, Wu Qin Xi, and Ba Duan Jin. Each movement in every routine is presented with a complete demonstration, step-by-step learning, common mistakes to avoid, theoretical explanations, and full practice sessions. The movements are standardized, the explanations are concise, and the course is richly illustrated, making it easy to understand and practice, and particularly suitable for online learning. By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1. Understand the theoretical knowledge related to health Qigong; 2. Master the health Qigong routines; 3. Be able to apply health Qigong to add value to their own and others' lives.
