Civil Aviation English I is a core professional course offered to junior students majoring in Aviation Service Art and Management in the first semester of their third year. The course consists of 64 class hours and is worth 4 credits. The main learning objectives are to master the English expressions, announcements and work procedures of cabin services during the pre-flight preparation and flight phases; to be proficient in communicating with passengers and providing cabin services in English; to be capable of making in-flight announcements in both Chinese and English; to possess good cross-cultural communication skills, professional knowledge and qualities of international cabin service personnel, and be able to provide satisfactory in-flight services to domestic and foreign passengers. Students are also expected to develop a strong sense of professional ethics and patriotism, as well as a professional attitude that prioritizes safety, puts passengers first, is warm and caring, and meticulous.
