Acupuncture and moxibustion, the important component of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), have been used for thousands of years in the treatment and prevention of diseases and have accumulated abundant empirical experience. They mainly consist of four parts, meridians and collaterals, acupoints, techniques of acupuncture and moxibustion, and clinical application of acupuncture and moxibustion. After learning this online course, the learners will comprehend the meridian theory to some extent, master the locations of important points and know how to manipulate needling, moxibustion, and cupping etc. In addition, acupuncture treatment of commonly seen diseases, which may attract the interests of listeners someway, will help them deal with some conditions in daily life by self-care methods.
