This course is taught by a licensed architect and is designed for both beginners and experienced professionals. You’ll learn how to confidently read and analyze residential construction blueprints using real-world examples, covering symbols, scales, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings. The course is hands-on, practical, and also available in Spanish.
Rather than looking at drawings in isolation, you’ll focus on how plans relate to one another within a full set of construction documents. You’ll practice comparing scales across drawings, reviewing blueprint sets prepared for building permits, and understanding why consistency across all documents is essential for accurate construction.
