  • A very interesting course that I recommend to all students of applied statistics. In addition, the professors are very dynamic
  • This class is perfect for the Statics beginner. It gives a thorough and easy to understand explanation about the key concepts in Statistics with examples and reinforcing exercises.
I was struggling at separating the mean (μ) for the sample mean (x-bar) and didn't have the slightest idea of what "standard deviation" was until I took this class. I'm very grateful for it and although it doesn't cover fully the topics of an intro to Stats class, it explains core concepts perfectly!

This course starts out simple and steadily accelerates in difficulty. I realized towards the end that the beginning of the course helped me build a strong foundation in understanding and analyzing distributions, which are key to all the statistical tests you learn later (e.g., z-tests, t-tests, chi-squared tests).

The concept of descriptive and inferential statistics is broken down. I can recommend it to anyone who is having challenges whatsoever in statistics and allied research work!
