Syllabus

  • Basics of Graphic and Digital Design
    • You will get an overview of what graphic and digital design is and its rich history. You'll learn core design principles, including the Golden Ratio, and briefly look at motion graphics.
  • The Creative Process
    • In this lesson, you will learn about the steps in the creative process and how to create a mood board. You will also practice editing an image with Pixlr, a free online photo editing software.
  • Color and Typography
    • In this lesson, you will learn basic color theory, how to create a color palette, and how to use color and typography to create a poster in Canva to promote your upcoming event.
