This course provides a practical, end-to-end guide to Goods and Services Tax (GST) fundamentals and compliance workflows using TallyPrime. You will start by understanding the structure and purpose of GST in India, including registration, tax components, rates, place and time of supply, invoicing rules, and the concept of input tax credit (ITC). The course then introduces you to the e-Way Bill and e-Invoicing frameworks, explaining their purpose, core components, validity rules, and how they affect day-to-day compliance. You will learn how to configure GST in TallyPrime by enabling GST features and creating the necessary masters, and then record GST-compliant transactions for both goods and services, across intrastate and interstate scenarios. The course explains how GST rates are applied in TallyPrime through the hierarchy of settings at company, ledger, group, item, and transaction levels. You will practice recording adjustments for purchase and sales returns, tax-inclusive supplies, and ITC set-off, as well as recording tax payments and reconciling challans. You will also work with TallyPrime’s e-Way Bill and e-Invoicing workflows to generate, export, manage, and print compliant documents, including IRN, QR codes, and linked e-Way Bills. Finally, the course focuses on GST return compliance in TallyPrime for regular, QRMP, and composition dealers. You will generate and review GST return reports, handle exceptions, and prepare data for filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9 using JSON export and portal-based processes. You will configure and use QRMP-related features, including payment timing and IFF export, and set up and operate as a composition dealer in TallyPrime, including recording composition transactions and tax payments. By the end of the course, you will be able to confidently manage the complete GST lifecycle in TallyPrime—from recording and reporting to filing and payment.

This course provides a practical, end-to-end understanding of managing Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) in TallyPrime for Indian businesses. You will first explore the overall TDS workflow stages—from setup to reporting and deductee accounting—so you can see how each action in TallyPrime links to statutory compliance requirements. You’ll then configure a company in TallyPrime to activate TDS, set up masters correctly, and ensure that statutory processing and reporting are accurate from the start. Next, the course walks through recording TDS on routine expense and payment transactions using the appropriate voucher workflows. You will learn how to apply correct TDS treatment to specific categories such as software purchases, sales commission, capital expenditure, and advance payments, including how to adjust subsequent bills to avoid duplicate deduction. You will practice handling exceptional TDS scenarios such as reversals, reimbursements, purchase escalation, GST-linked works contracts, and non-resident or foreign income transactions. Finally, you will interpret and use the TDS Outstanding report, process payments and generate challans, record interest on delayed payments, reconcile challan details for accurate returns, generate e-return outputs (Form 26Q and 27Q), and maintain books as a deductee to reflect net receipts and TDS credit. By the end of the course, you will be able to summarize and execute the complete TDS workflow in TallyPrime with confidence.

This course provides a practical, end-to-end guide to Tax Collected at Source (TCS) compliance in India, with a strong focus on implementation in Tally and TallyPrime. You begin by understanding the core concepts, purpose, and statutory framework of TCS, including key provisions, roles (collector and collectee), applicable transactions, and the interaction of TCS with related sections such as 194Q and 206CCA. The course also covers essential compliance elements—forms, challans, due dates, and interest on delayed deposits—so that you can map legal requirements to day-to-day accounting workflows. Building on this foundation, you configure TCS in Tally/TallyPrime, set up the necessary ledgers and masters, and record TCS-compliant sales transactions using appropriate voucher structures and statutory settings. You practice handling accrual-based sales of TCS goods, fixed asset purchases from the collectee perspective, TCS on transfer of right to use, advance receipts and their adjustment against final bills, and special-rate scenarios such as lower/nil TCS certificates and higher rates under Section 206CCA. You then process TCS payments, compute and record interest on delayed deposits, and pass statutory payment entries while verifying allocation across TCS categories. Finally, you generate, review, and reconcile TCS reports, prepare and export e-returns in Form 27EQ, and maintain the collectee’s books by treating TCS as a recoverable tax credit, enabling you to manage the full TCS lifecycle from transaction recording through payment, reporting, and return filing.
