ABOUT THE COURSE:
This course covers modern flat-panel electronic display technologies, highlighting their technical aspects and applications in various sectors, including automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, telecommunications, military, and avionics, shaping how we interact with electronic systems in everyday life. It presents some widely-used flat-panel display technologies such as liquid crystal displays (LCDs) and modern light emitting diode (LED) displays such as mini-LED and micro-LED, highlighting their working principles, design and performance parameters, driving schemes, applications and recent advancements.
INTENDED AUDIENCE: B.Tech (Final year), M.Tech, M.Sc, and PhD students & Members of R&D in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Nanotechnology and Material Engineering
PREREQUISITES: Basic electromagnetic theory and semiconductor physics in undergraduate curriculum.
INDUSTRY SUPPORT: Electronic-displays based industries such as DELL, HP, LENOVO, LG, SAMSUNG, ACER, APPLE etc.
