ABOUT THE COURSE:The law which regulates the personal affairs of Hindu is known as Hindu law. Marriage, Adoption Succession and Maintenance are under the dolmen of Hindu personal law. The Course is intended to discuss the various aspects of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, Hindu Succession Act, 1956 and Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956. The approach of designing the course is to demonstrate Philosophy, theories and Practical aspects of the Law on Marriage, succession, Adoption and maintenance.INTENDED AUDIENCE: Its useful for LL.B, LL.M Students and students of Sociology as well as general public.PREREQUISITES: 10+2 or Graduation
