This course provides insight into various aspects of solar photovoltaics (PV), i.e. basic physics of materials that are used for PV applications, P-N junction operation, PV device of different generations, materials used including state of the art, their manufacturing and characterization. It is an introductory course for advanced UG and PG (Masters or PhD) students who wish to learn about solar photovoltaics with an aim to enhance their knowledge about materials and devices.
