  • Fundamentals of Ground Penetrating Radar
Week 3:Magnetic Method
  • Basics of geomagnetism and Earth’s magnetic field
  • Data acquisition Reduction and corrections of magnetic data
  • Fluxgate and Proton Precession Magnetometers
Week 4:Gravity Method
  • Principles of gravimetry
  • Data acquisition Reduction and corrections of gravity data
  • Stable and unstable gravimeters
Week 5:Electrical Methods
  • Elements of SP, IP and resistivity methods
  • Field configurations: Wenner and Schlumberger arrays
  • Methods of resistivity profiling and sounding
Week 6:Seismic Methods
  • Basics of seismic reflection and refraction interpretation

Week 7:Radiometric and Well Logging Methods
