The 05 credits Major course is assigned to undergraduate BSc Geography honor’s Students and is being taught for in the various state and central universities and their constituent / affiliated colleges. The module will be highly effective and progressive to all students studying. The students will be able to download their contents online without much effort. The main Objective would be to have a comprehensive awareness of our environmental problems and the connections between ecological health, human growth, and social well being is what these goals seek to promote. The dynamic study of the complex interactions between human societies and the environment is known as environmental geography. To investigate how ecological processes influence human activities and, in turn, how these actions affect the earth's ecosystems, this interdisciplinary field draws on concepts from geography, ecology, and the social sciences. The importance of environmental geography has increased recently due to growing concerns about biodiversity loss, resource depletion, and climate change. This course examines to how demographic and economic factors impact ecological footprints, researchers and practitioners in this field concentrate on regional patterns of environmental degradation and sustainability. Furthermore the topics like land use change, urbanization, and conservation approaches, all of which significantly impact ecosystems and human welfare will be elaborated in the course on Environmental geography. With an emphasis on human-natural interactions, environmental geography is a field that blends aspects of geography and environmental studies with following objectives-
