​Digital Forensics is undoubtedly an excellent topic that is gaining popularity day by day. Although the course is good, it has several weak points, which is why I would never give this course a positive review:​

1. Poor Video & Audio Quality: The quality of the video and audio is subpar, making it difficult to follow the lectures.​

2. Outdated Lectures: All lectures are old and not up-to-date with current developments in the field.​

3. Instructor Reads from PPTs: In the video series, the instructor merely reads from PowerPoint presentations without providing proper explanations in their own words.​

4. Lack of Practical Content: The course offers minimal practical exercises, focusing more on theoretical aspects.​

5. High Communication Gap: There is a significant communication gap. The course only provides a WhatsApp group in admin mode, preventing students from sharing their doubts.​

6. No Fixed Timetable: The teacher does not follow a set timetable, sending video links, quizzes, and attendance links at their convenience.​

7. Irregular Course Management: The course lacks regularity, with activities occurring according to the teacher's wishes.​

8. Unclear Instructions: There are no clear instructions regarding doubts and other aspects of the course.​

9. Boring Initial Lectures: You will get bored just by watching the first video.​

10. Inexperienced Faculty: While the faculty members are highly experienced on paper, the video lectures reveal that they have zero experience and knowledge.​

In conclusion, if you feel that taking this course is necessary for your college or university, then you should enroll and study the PDFs on your own.

The course is quite helpful to understand emerging issues and benefits related to Digital Forensics.

i. Eleven (11) sections of the Information Technology Act, 2000 were amended through serial numbers 32 and the entries relating thereto in the Schedule to the Jan Vishwas Act.

ii. It may also be noted that the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has notified the date of enforcement as 30.11.2023 through Gazette Notification number S.O. 4745(E) dated 31.10.2023, on which the provisions of the Jan Vishwas Act, insofar as it relates to serial number 32 and the corresponding entries in the Schedule to the Jan Vishwas Act pertaining to the IT Act, shall come into force. iii. Such amendments to 11 sections under the Information Technology Act, 2023 are as follows:

a) Decriminalization of company-related contraventions by eliminating imprisonment and replacing Court-imposed fine with the financial penalty imposed by the Adjudicating Officer (AO) [Sections 33, 67C, 68, 72 and 72A],
b) Rationalization of civil contraventions [Sections 44, 45];
c) Expansion of the scope of adjudication of civil contraventions [Section 46];
d) Alignment of punishment across similar offences --- Sections 69B, 70B (cyber security related) -- after amendments, the revised imprisonment is up to 1 year and fine is up to Rs. 1 crore.
e) Omitting provisions struck down by Supreme Court --- Section 66A .

Accordingly, Section 68 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 after amendments has decriminalized the offences (i.e. there is no more imprisonment or fine) and now provides for imposing financial penalty up to Rs. 25 lakhs against non-compliance with an order from the Controller of the Certifying Authorities (CCA).
Therefore, kindly review the course materials of the Digital Forensics course and update thereunder the provisions indicated under various sections of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The options given in the instant questions also need to have Penalty as a valid option.
