You can die accidentally, but you can’t afford to live accidentally. You must live with an intent and a design to achieve that intent. Your career is the means of realizing your potential to the benefit of humanity, the larger good. The course offers a step-by-step guide on how to think about your career choices carefully and to navigate your career in a manner that does justice to your innate talent and external opportunities. The course is divided into three sections: Lead Self, Lead Others, and Lead Change. Lead Self is about making conscious choices about life, your purpose in life, how you conserve your attention, and how do you hone the capacities of empathy and creativity. Only after getting a handle on your personal life that you can impact others. The second section, Lead Others, is about creating an impact on other’s lives by the virtue of being a manager or a colleague. Both informal and formal management styles are discussed here, and how one could be an adept problem solver, for all life is problem solving. The final section, Lead Change, is about leading others through uncertainty and creating a lasting impact. Here, we discuss about the importance of thinking strategically and decision making, especially when data and others aren’t in favor. The course equips you with a clearer view towards your career and the means of influencing those around you.
