 To classify global climatic types using Koppen’s classification system and understand their geographical distribution and characteristics.
 To study the formation, structure, and movement of tropical and extra-tropical cyclones, and evaluate their impact on weather systems.
 To investigate the origin, mechanism, and variability of the Indian Monsoon, including its influence on regional climate and agriculture.
 To develop skills in interpreting weather patterns, analyzing climate data, and applying climatological concepts to real-world environmental and geographic issues.
