ABOUT THE COURSE:Qualitative research approach is somewhat new and different approach to undertake research with respect to the dominant quantitative research approach. The qualitative research came into prominence in the last 3- 4 decades in the research arena. It got a place in the course content of research methods at Master’s level in education, humanities and other disciplines in the last decade, and later in that of the PhD course work. Much has been written about it in English but literature in Hindi is scarce. This course will bridge this gap. It will enable researchers and students to understand the nature of qualitative research and its various types.
