Thank you to the University of Valencia for putting out these beginner Spanish courses! I have taken all 3 during quarantine, and along with some of my own studying on the side, I feel like I have learned a lot of the basics of Spanish. The only thing I would change about this particular course was the parts of it that were repeated verbatim from the second course. I did not mind reviewing the grammar topics, but I would have liked to perhaps practice them in different contexts. The best part of this course was the videos and the extensive practice with the past tense. Gracias para este curso; yo aprendí mucho!

I have enjoyed this class very much. I took the other 2 Spanish courses and I am able to understand so much more of the language. However, I felt as though the 2nd course ended rather abruptly and it took a bit of time to get into the 3rd one. By taking these courses, I was introduced to DUO. I use it daily on either the computer or phone. Very easy to download. I give thumbs up for all of the classes !!

Es un curso muy agradable de verdad, pero me entristecí por no haber hecho los últimos ejercicios porque el contenido gratuito se había acabado. Sin embargo, es bueno para entrenar tu español y ver dónde tienes dificultad.

I learned alot during this course. The book work was great way to introduce rules of the language and spelling to me. I feel like some words should be introduced with the rules on how to use them and what they mean before using them. Overall, I dont have any/many complaints. Thanks for sharing the knowledge. This is how you make the world a better place.

The material was well presented and easy to understand. Most of the examples used were common things.

Disfruté mucho de este curso. Me gustaría retomarlo en el futuro. Estoy estudiando español junto con alemán y me parecen interesantes los sustantivos con género.

The courses in this specialization were very good. I liked the instructors and the assignments seemed appropriate for the level. I recommend all three courses and hope the university will offer more Spanish courses on EdX in the future.

Great course to refresh my Spanish skills! I didn't learn much new content (I have taken an honors level Spanish 2 course in High School that covered most of these topics already) but I enjoyed the review, practice, and videos that went with this course! Will recommend to others!

I really enjoyed this online course because of clear explanations, numerous exercises, videos - and general course flow. I have been studying Spanish in Prague for four months and really needed to revise and practice what I have learnt in the classroom. This course reinforced what I kind of knew - and gave me more confidence in the classroom.

'Spanish 3: Getting there' is very well structured, with many helpful tools for beginners. The only thing is that when completing the course the learner should receive their certificate immediately and in my case that didn't happen. The button wasn't working properly. So there's still room for improvement.

Learning Spanish does not need to be this complicated, I could barely remember a full sentence, Doulingo is better..

He aprendido muchas reglas y aspectos culturales del español, por lo que me siento seguro de poder hablar un poco de español.

I have more understanding of speaking Spanish and will continue to find opportunities to practice. The quizzes, videos. And problems forces me to evaluate my understanding and force me to practice more. I would want more practices problems when my scores are not satisfactory. I completed all 3 Spanish courses and love this program.

Very good course for multiple reasons : the videos to improve listening and comprehension, the grammar explained by bits followed by examples and evaluated exercises. It beats learning from only a book with completed exercises. Highly recommended !
