Gouache is a favorite medium of many contemporary illustrators, so I have decided to make this video introduction to working with gouache. You will learn:
- the basics of working with gouache paints
- painting on a dark paper or dark background
- how to paint a more or less abstract 2D landscape
- what materials you can use
- you will try few exercises on painting simple florals or everyday objects
This class is great for artists who haven't try painting with gouache paints before or for complete beginners.
By the end of this class, you should have your own modern landscape illustration inspired by American folk art or contemporary folk art.
