Undergraduate political science course on global justice, examining the human rights context and historical origins of contemporary justice and rights discourse, political theories of justice, the universal-relative debate over empowerment and agency, conflicting individual and collective claims, and the tension between civil-political and economic, social, and cultural rights, closing with the question of whether global justice is achievable in theory and practice.
