An introductory college-level survey of macroeconomics. It covers the basic economic way of thinking, the measurement of national output, inflation, and unemployment, the aggregate demand and aggregate supply model, macroeconomic equilibrium and long-run economic growth, money, banking, and monetary policy, fiscal policy and the inflation-unemployment tradeoff, and international trade and finance. Includes a study guide and a certificate final exam, and is intended for learners with no prior background in economics who want a foundation in how national economies function and how policy affects them.
