World-renowned experts will present the latest research, practice guidelines, and treatment protocols to advance best practices in the care of pediatric patients. In this session, Dr. Joyce Javier discusses the impact of colonialism and racism on Filipino health and mental health disparities, protective and risk factors for suicidal behavior among Filipino youth and ways pediatricians can address mental health among Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) youth and families.
