This course teaches learners to evaluate business ideas using SWOT, PEST, and GAP analyses, interpret relevant information, and develop strategic plans.

Syllabus

By the end of the course, learners will be able to identify and explain the key traits of a successful entrepreneur, demonstrating an understanding of how these traits contribute to entrepreneurial success.
Learners will be able to analyse and interpret various types of information relevant to entrepreneurship, demonstrating the ability to draw meaningful insights from data.
Learners will be able to conduct a SWOT analysis, applying their understanding of this tool to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of a business idea or venture.
Learners will be able to conduct a PEST analysis, applying their understanding of political, economic, social, and technological factors to assess the external business environment.
Learners will be able to conduct a GAP analysis, evaluating the current performance of a business or business idea against its potential, and identifying areas for improvement or growth.
By the end of the course, learners will be able to develop strategic plans for a business, demonstrating the ability to synthesize their knowledge of entrepreneurship and analysis tools to create effective business strategies.
