- Explain the aims and theoretical underpinnings of the PIPE-MC program
- Demonstrate facilitation skills to ensure safe and culturally respectful learning environment for PIPE-MC workshop participants
- Demonstrate skills to plan, guide and manage simulated practice sessions including facilitating effective debriefing/feedback and incorporating interprofessional perspectives
- Sensitively incorporate people with lived experience to share their experiences with PIPE-MC participants and facilitate related group discussion
- Demonstrate skills to effectively facilitate reflective discussion related to the immersive technology resources
- Discuss how to work effectively with a co-facilitator from different disciplines including co-facilitators with lived experience
- Plan and prepare a one-day interprofessional PIPE-MC workshop and brief simulated practice / in-service sessions in both the face-to-face and online modes of delivery.
You and your co-facilitators will offer workshops for many more maternity clinicians and interprofessional teams across Australia thereby improving our capacity to support women and families with mental health concerns or experiencing complex psychosocial needs in the perinatal period.
