About our course facilitator

Thais Oso

Thais started her career as a psychologist working in the favelas and psychiatric prisons of Brazil. She moved to Australia 15 years ago and has since become a prominent business educator, coach and speaker. In her current role she is responsible for the development of accredited and non-accredited courses in the areas of leadership, marketing and entrepreneurship. She also leads a team of facilitators who specialise in the delivery of experiential project-based learning and design thinking.

Outside of education, Thais is a Board Member and Executive Director of AUBRBC - the Australian Brasil Business Council - a non-profit organisation focussed on strengthening the bilateral relationship between Brasil and Australia. She is also an Advisory Board Member of Restart Us, a for profit social enterprise focussed on giving underprivileged people access to education and job opportunities.

Learn about innovation and how you can use different methods to find new solutions for old problems.
Explore the use of the Design Thinking process for problem-solving and idea generation.
Evaluate information, make decisions, and create solutions for business and personal problems.
Review, analyse and synthesise evidence and come to well-founded responses when investigating complex issues.
