Project governance and Project Management Office (PMO)

I found the course to be very informative and well-structured. Dr. Hillson is an expert in project governance and he does a great job of explaining the concepts in a clear and concise way. The course also includes a number of case studies and exercises, which help to reinforce the learning.

Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning more about project governance and the PMO. It is a valuable resource for project managers, PMO professionals, and anyone else who wants to improve their understanding of project governance.

This course of Project Governance and Project management office is very interesting course. in modern environment most of organization are working under the specified projects for easy achievements.

As this courses provides the bases for essentials of good project governance , this assist all project stakeholders to determine their benchmark of how they can attain towards the objectives indicated for the project undertaking. If there is proper governance strategy, the project objective will be easily achieved. what is project is properly governed the nature of the project deliverables will be relating to objectives pre identified.

Project Board(project steering committee) is the benchmark for facilitating the attainability of indicated objectives where in accordance to three levels of basic PMO,Intermediate PMO and Advanced PMO all those supplement themselves to chive project objectives.

The project management office is important in setting and continue monitoring the project activities. i should recommend all companies, Non governmental organizations, Government offices to employ this concept of having the proper working well of Project management office on order to enhance the attaining of true and clear deliverables for beneficiaries.

I knew I wanted to come to UCFB when I first came for an open day in year 11. I loved that I’d be having some lectures in a stadium, a practical part in another amazing facility and that the contacts I’d get would be amazing, especially to get me started in a coaching career. At the very start of first year, I was receiving tens of emails about opportunities out there for me to apply for and loads of ways to start building my coaching CV. These opportunities have continued to grow throughout my experience here at UCFB. I knew I would choose to stay in London to study at the Wembley campus, as I couldn’t imagine choosing any other stadium than the world-famous Wembley Stadium. It’s incredible having lectures overlooking the pitch, and living in the UCFB student accommodation which involves walking past the stadium any time I go out. The most amazing experience is when it’s a match day in Wembley, and it finally hits me that I actually live next to the stadium! The only downside to being in Wembley, is the travel to get to any facilities for the practical element of the course. Having to leave student accommodation nearly an hour before lectures and having to pay for travel to and from locations can be a bit inconvenient, but the opportunity to study at The Hive, with their incredible facilities, makes the travel and cost pretty worth it! I keep sharing my experience with family and friends, and to say that I study a football degree, in Wembley Stadium, sounds awesome to most of them, and creates such a conversation with new people I meet!
