In this lab, you will configure logging and monitoring in an AWS account.


Objectives

  • Analyze CloudTrail events in CloudWatch.
  • Create a CloudTrail trail with CloudWatch logging enabled.
  • Create an Amazon SNS topic and an email subscription to it.
  • Create CloudWatch metric filters and CloudWatch alarms.
  • Query CloudTrail logs by using Amazon CloudWatch Logs Insights.


Prerequisites

  • Basic understanding of AWS Management Console navigation
  • Familiarity with AWS logging and monitoring concepts
  • Access to a valid email address for SNS notifications
  • Experience with basic AWS services (IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
