As a Network Administrator or Network Engineer (or one who aspires to those roles) it is virtually certain that you will run across a situation that requires you to understand, implement, and troubleshoot Virtual LANs (VLANs) and interconnect switches via VLAN Trunks.
This course takes a vendor-neutral look at these technologies and the problems they were designed to solve. Then, in order to give you exposure to some practical aspects of these technologies, you are shown the configuration commands to implement VLANs, Inter-VLAN routing, and VLAN Trunks using Cisco and Juniper switches. Another important aspect of this course is that you are given step-by-step instructions on how to follow along with the instructor using Cisco's free Devnet Sandbox labs or Juniper Network's free vLabs. Using these free, publicly accessible resources, you will be able to practice these technologies yourself within the objective-based "Demonstration" videos included in this course.
