As the main reason why cyber security should be a critical part of any organization's overall strategy, in this course, we'll explore attacks and vulnerabilities. We'll look at different types of threat actor groups what their primary motivators are, and some methods to collect various pieces of intelligence about their tactics, techniques, and procedures. In this course, you'll learn about the most common types of attacks that threat actors employ, including reconnaissance, social engineering, application, and network attacks. From there, we'll go into what commonly makes these attacks possible: vulnerabilities. We'll go over the main types of vulnerabilities, and dive deeper into injection vulnerabilities, as well as application- and authentication-based vulnerabilities, and others. This course is structured to fit into the Cisco CCNA Cybersecurity certification learning path but contains useful information and skills to benefit any cybersecurity professional.
