500.2 is based on protecting our environment in multiple ways using Microsoft Defender technology. Together, we will explore Microsoft Defender for Identity that assists us in protecting our cloud, hybrid , and on-premise environments from attacks against our Active Directory solutions. But not only are we protecting our user’s identities, we are also going to look at protecting our data using Microsoft Defender for Office 365. We will learn how we can automate responses to our attacks and how to monitor malicious activity occurring within our Office 365 security and compliance infrastructure. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint allows us to monitor our end user’s devices using many types of policies to help protect apps and devices from threats externally and from within our own environments. Finally, we will wrap up with Azure Sentinel. One of Microsoft’s newest tools to help bring all of our alerts and notifications into one place using Azure log analytics to help us be more proactive in hunting down threats before they spread.
