Introduction to Security & Risk Management

Before security controls can be selected and implemented, a proper assessment must be conducted to see what an organization needs. But how does an organization go about this process? This course discusses all of the basics of security management and risk management, including GRC. Starting with organizational roles and responsibilities, and pivoting to risk analysis and response, you will learn what steps are required for minimizing risk in your organization. You will also learn about various frameworks that exist for ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and for properly selecting and implementing security controls.
