After participating in this activity, the learner should be better able to:

Calculate morphine milligram equivalents (MME) in order to prescribe safer dosages of opioids.
Identify high risk patients and prescribe naloxone to these patients to prevent risk of overdose death.
Identify non-opioid therapeutic options for acute pain management.
