Syllabus

After participating in a Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior Academic Grand Rounds, the learner should be better able to:

  • Utilize the information presented by internal and external experts in the fields of psychiatry and psychology in their daily professional activities
  • Address specialized topics selected from the general areas of basic neuroscience, biological psychiatry, psychodynamic psychiatry, and health care delivery
  • Identify and explore current issues involved in the field of mental health
  • Implement best practices for the treatment of patients with behavioral issues
